Dit privacybeleid legt uit welke persoonsgegevens de Aan'm de Podcast-app verzamelt, waarom we die gebruiken, en welke rechten je hebt. We gaan zorgvuldig met je gegevens om en verzamelen alleen wat nodig is om de app te laten werken.
Wie is verantwoordelijk?
De app en de podcast worden beheerd door de makers van Aan'm de Podcast. Voor vragen over dit privacybeleid of je gegevens kun je contact opnemen via het e-mailadres onderaan deze pagina.
Welke gegevens we verzamelen
Afhankelijk van hoe je de app gebruikt, verwerken we de volgende gegevens:
Account- en profielgegevens
- Je e-mailadres en naam, via inloggen met Google, Apple of e-mail + wachtwoord.
- Je door jou ingevulde voor- en achternaam en (optioneel) telefoonnummer.
- De inlogmethode (Google, Apple of e-mail). We slaan geen profielfoto op — ook niet als je met Google of Apple inlogt.
Inhoud die je zelf instuurt
- Vragen en ideeën voor de show — ingesproken (audio-opname) of getypt.
- Forumberichten en reacties (voor Only Friends).
- Voorspellingen van wedstrijduitslagen en gaststemmen/-suggesties.
- Likes op afleveringen en nummers.
Bestellingen en donaties
- Bij een bestelling in de shop: je naam, telefoonnummer en de bestelde artikelen.
- Bij een Only Friends-donatie: je naam en e-mailadres (de betaling zelf verloopt buiten de app, via een betaalverzoek).
Technische gegevens
- Een meldingen-token van je toestel, zodat we je push-meldingen kunnen sturen (alleen als je daar toestemming voor geeft).
Waarom we deze gegevens gebruiken
- Om je account aan te maken en je aangemeld te houden.
- Om de functies van de app te laten werken (vragen insturen, voorspellen, forum, shop, Only Friends).
- Om je bestellingen af te handelen en contact met je op te nemen.
- Om je meldingen te sturen over nieuwe afleveringen, wedstrijden en de status van je bestelling of aanvraag.
- Om ingestuurde vragen te kunnen gebruiken in de show.
Waar je gegevens worden opgeslagen
De app maakt gebruik van Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage en Cloud Messaging) voor het inloggen, het opslaan van gegevens en het versturen van meldingen. Google verwerkt deze gegevens als onze verwerker; de opslag en verwerking vinden plaats op de servers van Google.
Ingesproken vragen worden als audiobestand opgeslagen. Zie hieronder bij Bewaartermijnen hoe lang we die bewaren.
Beveiliging van je gegevens
Je gegevens worden versleuteld verzonden en opgeslagen. Alle communicatie tussen de app en Firebase verloopt over een beveiligde verbinding (TLS/HTTPS), en Google versleutelt de opgeslagen gegevens standaard op zijn servers. Wachtwoorden bewaart Firebase Authentication versleuteld (als salted hash), nooit als leesbare tekst. Daarnaast bepalen toegangsregels wie welke gegevens mag inzien — doorgaans alleen jijzelf en de beheerder.
Externe diensten en links
De app toont afleveringen en de hitlijst vanuit Spotify. Wanneer je een aflevering in de app afspeelt, wordt de audio gestreamd vanaf de hostingdienst van de podcast (Spotify for Podcasters / Anchor en hun CDN); daarbij wordt geen persoonlijke informatie van jou meegestuurd. Voor nummers uit de hitlijst en als terugval voor afleveringen open je Spotify — daarop is het privacybeleid van Spotify van toepassing. De app bevat ook links naar externe websites (zoals sponsoren, de clubsite en socials); voor die sites gelden hun eigen privacyverklaringen.
Bewaartermijnen
- Je account- en profielgegevens bewaren we zolang je een account hebt. Verwijder je je account, dan worden deze gegevens verwijderd.
- Ingesproken vragen worden automatisch van de server verwijderd vier weken nadat de podcastmakers de opname hebben gedownload voor gebruik in de show. Nog niet gedownloade opnames blijven bewaard tot ze behandeld zijn.
- Overige gegevens (bestellingen, forumberichten, voorspellingen) bewaren we zolang dat nodig is voor het doel waarvoor ze zijn ingestuurd.
Delen met derden
We verkopen je gegevens niet en delen ze niet met derden voor commerciële doeleinden. Gegevens worden alleen verwerkt door onze technische dienstverlener (Google Firebase) voor zover nodig om de app te laten werken, of wanneer we daartoe wettelijk verplicht zijn.
Je rechten
Je hebt op grond van de privacywetgeving (AVG) onder meer het recht om:
- je gegevens in te zien;
- je gegevens te laten corrigeren (deels kan dat zelf via Meer > Profiel in de app);
- je account en gegevens te laten verwijderen;
- bezwaar te maken tegen de verwerking van je gegevens.
Wil je hier gebruik van maken? Neem dan contact met ons op via het e-mailadres onderaan deze pagina. Je kunt push-meldingen op elk moment uitzetten in de app of in de instellingen van je telefoon.
Beveiliging
We nemen passende maatregelen om je gegevens te beschermen. Toegang tot gegevens is afgeschermd en alleen beschikbaar voor beheerders van de podcast voor zover dat nodig is om de app te beheren (bijvoorbeeld het afhandelen van bestellingen of het beoordelen van ingestuurde vragen).
Kinderen
De app is niet specifiek gericht op kinderen. Ben je jonger dan 16 jaar, gebruik de app dan alleen met toestemming van een ouder of verzorger.
Wijzigingen
We kunnen dit privacybeleid van tijd tot tijd aanpassen. De meest recente versie staat altijd op deze pagina, met bovenaan de datum van de laatste wijziging.

Who is responsible?

What data we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we process the following data:
Account and profile data
- Your e-mail address and name, via sign-in with Google, Apple or e-mail + password.
- The first and last name you enter and (optionally) your phone number.
- The sign-in method (Google, Apple or e-mail). We do not store a profile picture — not even when you sign in with Google or Apple.
Content you submit yourself
- Questions and ideas for the show — recorded (audio) or typed.
- Forum posts and replies (for Only Friends).
- Predictions of match results and guest votes/suggestions.
- Likes on episodes and tracks.
Orders and donations
- For a shop order: your name, phone number and the items ordered.
- For an Only Friends donation: your name and e-mail address (the payment itself takes place outside the app, via a payment request).
Technical data
- A notification token from your device, so we can send you push notifications (only if you grant permission).
Why we use this data
- To create your account and keep you signed in.
- To make the features of the app work (submitting questions, predictions, forum, shop, Only Friends).
- To handle your orders and get in touch with you.
- To send you notifications about new episodes, matches and the status of your order or request.
- To be able to use submitted questions in the show.
Where your data is stored
The app uses Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage and Cloud Messaging) for signing in, storing data and sending notifications. Google processes this data as our processor; storage and processing take place on Google's servers.
Recorded questions are stored as an audio file. See Retention periods below for how long we keep them.
Security of your data
Your data is transmitted and stored encrypted. All communication between the app and Firebase runs over a secure connection (TLS/HTTPS), and Google encrypts the stored data by default on its servers. Firebase Authentication stores passwords encrypted (as a salted hash), never as readable text. In addition, access rules determine who may view which data — usually only you and the administrator.
External services and links
The app shows episodes and the chart from Spotify. When you play an episode in the app, the audio is streamed from the podcast's hosting service (Spotify for Podcasters / Anchor and their CDN); no personal information about you is sent along with it. For tracks from the chart and as a fallback for episodes you open Spotify — Spotify's privacy policy applies there. The app also contains links to external websites (such as sponsors, the club site and socials); those sites have their own privacy statements.
Retention periods
- We keep your account and profile data for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, this data is deleted.
- Recorded questions are automatically deleted from the server four weeks after the podcast makers have downloaded the recording for use in the show. Recordings not yet downloaded are kept until they are handled.
- Other data (orders, forum posts, predictions) is kept for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was submitted.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes. Data is only processed by our technical service provider (Google Firebase) as far as needed to run the app, or when we are legally required to do so.
Your rights
Under privacy law (GDPR) you have, among others, the right to:
- access your data;
- have your data corrected (you can partly do this yourself via More > Profile in the app);
- have your account and data deleted;
- object to the processing of your data.

Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your data. Access to data is restricted and only available to podcast administrators as far as needed to manage the app (for example, handling orders or reviewing submitted questions).
Children
The app is not specifically aimed at children. If you are under 16, only use the app with the permission of a parent or guardian.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The most recent version is always on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
